Troy Brosnan’s Go-Fast Signature Tyre
Troy wanted a “unicorn” of a tyre – a center tread design that carried speed easily but with edge blocks worthy of world-class cornering speed. Using our Rekon, Minon DHF, and High Roller II tread patterns as a starting point, Troy and our engineering team began development on the Dissector during the 2018 World Cup season.
The center knobs are all heavily ramped to minimize drag, but retain sharp, flat edges along their backs to provide strong braking traction. Small sipes give the knobs additional flexion, increasing their surface area during braking and aiding the transition to the edge blocks when cornering. C-shaped edge blocks alternate between being closer and farther away from the center line of the tyre. This pattern reduces vagueness when transferring from the center tread to the cornering tread. A distinct channel along either side of the center knobs – along with ample spacing between all lugs – helps to clear debris.
- Recommended as a rear tyre
- Ideal for dry, fast tracks and bike parks
- Wide Trail (WT) casing is optimized for 30-35mm inner rim widths

CushCore TRAIL provides an all-new option for riders looking for a performance/weight balance between our PRO and XC inserts.
Additionally, CushCore TRAIL was engineered to provide more progressive sidewall support: the harder you push, the more support you’ll feel. Enabling supple tire response on flat corners and a stable sidewall when railing berms.
Like all CushCore tire inserts, TRAIL absorbs shock and vibration, improves cornering, and prevents flats/rim damage … giving you Total Confidence to ride at your best.
Featuring a fast-rolling center tread, firmly supported side knobs, and advanced compounds, the Newton provides surefooted traction in a wide range of conditions. As befitting a tire named after the man who defined the laws of gravity and motion, the Newton is the enduro and downhill rider’s choice; it’s the tire to reach for when the terrain gets steep.
Available in two models: Utilizing an EN casing paired with our R/T rubber compound, the Newton EN is lightweight with sturdy tread blocks. The Newton DH pairs our most robust casing with our softest RS/T rubber compound for unrivaled durability and traction.

From aggressive trail riding to the demands of downhill racing, the Newton ST delivers consistent cornering bite, predictable braking control and premium performance in ever-changing conditions. The tread design features ramped center knobs to reduce rolling resistance, while tall, arch-supported side knobs provide ample braking and cornering grip. Taller, meatier, and more aggressive than the Newton, the Newton ST ups the ante when front grip and loose terrain traction is a priority.
Next generation tubeless tyre design incorporating tubeless specific bead and casings, allowing for easy installation and superior air retention. Utilising an EN casing paired with the R/T rubber compound, the Newton-ST EN is lightweight with sturdy tread blocks.
The original Forekaster was designed as a wet weather option for XC, while the new version is aimed squarely at modern short travel (100mm-130mm) trail bikes – aka the “downcountry” segment. Intended to be a “Goldilocks” tire, the new Forekaster rolls fast but also provides solid cornering and braking traction in a broad range of trail conditions.
