When you are going large you need the 38. Designed to work best with 160-180mm of travel the 38 has all the revolutionary features of the 36. The Fox 38 range sets new standards for confidence, performance and durability.
Float Evol Air Spring
Evol technology increases negative air spring volume, optimizing small bump sensitivity. Evol’s linear spring curve delivers plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support, and more tunable bottom-out progression. The benefits of Evol are further enhanced by Fox’s new Lower Leg channels and Bleeders, which both function to reduce air pressure captured in the lower legs, allowing the Evol air spring to operate freely without unintended interference.
Grip 2 Damper
Fox’s Grip 2 damper is the benchmark for unparalleled ride quality and ultra-precise adjustability. Grip 2 includes Fox’s patented Variable Valve Control (VVC) technology which allows for external fine-tuning of suspension performance. Grip 2 achieves with the twist of a knob what typically requires the time consuming and complicated task of completely disassembling and reassembling the fork.

Feature-packed and designed to exceed the demands of factory-level riders. Factory Series products feature slippery smooth, ultra-durable genuine Kashima coat. Factory forks feature an additional 22 clicks of low-speed compression adjust in the Open mode, allowing riders to fine-tune their exact damping preferences.

- NEW Charger 3 Damper that features an all-new Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design that offers more consistency through the stroke, and truly independent adjustments that reduce harshness and increase control without any “cross talk”. Featuring High Speed Compression, Low Speed Compression, and a revamped Low Speed Rebound system that keeps your wheel glued to the ground, Charger 3 gives you even more tunability. With the new 36, Fox wanted to increase the smoothness, stiffness and tune-ability of their market leading fork. On the smoothness front, and all new chassis has three key features. The new floating axle design allows for precise alignment of the hub and the upper and lower fork legs, ensuring the smoothest tracking of terrain. New channels in the back of the lower legs increase the air volume in the lowers to reduce the amount of unintended pressure ramping, as well as allow more oil flow to the dust wiper foam rings and bushings. Finally the bleed valves here allow for atmospheric pressure equalisation and release of pressure build up from long, rough runs, improving small bump sensitivity and responsiveness.
