$9,900.00 – $16,600.00
The new Ripley is here! And it’s still the same snappy, flickable, playful, fast, lightweight and versatile 29″ trail bike it’s always been, except better.
Taking everything we’ve learned from the Ripmo, we updated the Ripley with cutting-edge geometry and a stiff light carbon fiber chassis.
The new Ripley retains the (130mm on Performance / 140mm on Factory) of front travel and 120mm of ultra efficient dw-link rear travel as the original, but has been given a fresh dose of the longer, slacker and steeper treatment. This Mini’Mo has been slackened out by one degree, to 66.5º. The seat tube has moved forward by three degrees, to 76º, which has pushed the reach out by ~45mm across all four sizes (S, M, L, & XL).
Included with this bike is a starter kit. For more information click here.
Description
LONGER, SLACKER, STEEPER
With its well balanced modern geometry, the Ripley is ready for any adventure. The long front end, slack head angle, and short rear end gives you the confidence to try new lines, while the steep seat tube angle and shorter offset fork makes it easy to maneuver technical climbs and flowy singletrack.
See sizing guide for an indication of your bike see. Please note that only authorised dealers are able to advise you properly on the correct bike size. Please contact your local dealer so that they can give you the correct information
REVIEWS
PINKBIKE“That means that this entirely new bike is the fourth-generation Ripley, and with the most progressive geometry that Ibis has ever used and a very Ripmo-esque stance, something tells me it’s also the most capable Ripley yet.” Read the full review here.
BikeRumor! “It also offered a playfulness that made popping off little jumps and logs fun, likely aided by the bike’s light weight. And it was easy to navigate the big berms and tight sections as well as the steep downward dirt slides that finish off many a Santa Cruz ride.” See the full review here.
Vital MTB “I’m constantly amazed by the engineering and ability bikes deliver today. With that said, the Ripley sits comfortably in the upper echelons of all current trail super-bikes.” Read the full review here.
