Introducing the Highlander II, our all-carbon trail bike, now equipped with full UDH compatibility for 2024. This versatile bike is designed for everything from bike park laps, all day rides, weekend enduros and everything in between. We’ve enhanced what we believe is the best high-pivot trail bike on the market, and made it better. Featuring a 65-degree head angle with a 160mm fork for agility and stability on challenging, steep trails. With a perfect reach for climbing, comfort and ample room for controlled descending, the Highlander II offers enormous standover clearance and accommodates the longest dropper posts available. Big on wheels, medium on travel, short on fuss, this is the do-it-all model that does it over and over again thanks to a versatile balance of geo, spec and durability. If you’re not looking for extremes, just something extremely good, the Hightower is your elevator.
Status 160 Frameset
It’s dealer’s choice with the Status 160 frameset, but whatever the build, a good time is more than a safe bet. But that said, the odds of you being able to keep your poker face after getting a taste of the Status 160’s playful Mixed Wheel-Size Trail Geometry are awfully tall.
The traction and rolling speed of a 29-inch wheel on the front and the quick-to-flick, snappy ride feel of a 27.5-inch wheel in back may sound like were hedging our bets, but we’re really going all-in on fun.
And, by sticking to a frame design with an emphasis on simplicity and reliability we’ve ensured the fun flows unfiltered and free from distractions.
- With an eye on keeping maintenance to a minimum, oversized pivot bearings increase durability while a common size across all pivots makes service and replacement a breeze when that day does come around. A threaded SRAM DUB bottom bracket continues on the theme with worry-free performance.
- The active, planted feel of the Status’ FSR suspension design and Fox’s DPX2 rear shock equipped with our Rx Trail Tune make for perfect friends—and plenty of benefits. Calling on a twin-tube design that allows for two separate oil pathways during compression and rebound, the DPX2 rear shock provides plenty of support for big hits while still offering enough buttery small-bump sensitivity to keep you fresh for when the style points really count.

From flat out on the trail to fully flat over a table, if you wanna send it the Bronson delivers. The 150mm-travel bike can go deep on any landing and the VPP™ suspension design makes sure that there’s no wasted energy when heading back up for another go. If you value style at speed or want to have fun feeling fast, then mixed wheels (29” up front, 27.5” out back) are the right choice. The larger front wheel provides more traction and stability that’ll make you feel more confident squaring off the turns and diving for the inside lines. But a 27.5-inch tire in the rear means this bike still loves getting up on the back wheel and into the air.
